At Von Sydow’s Moving & Storage, Inc., we realize that corporate relocation is about one thing, people.  We utilize an expert team of move coordinators to make the relocating of your transferees as seamless and smooth as possible.  As an agent for Allied Van Lines, we provide professional packing and transportation services throughout the country and the world. 

When conducting the relocation of a transferee through Von Sydow’s, the transferee is given single point of contact—the move coordinator—who will provide counsel and address questions throughout the move process.  Some of the highlights of this move management system include:

The move coordinator will contact your transferee(s) before the move to introduce move benefits and policies and to determine individual transferee needs.

• The move coordinator will remain in contact with the transferee(s) throughout the move with priority contact being made on the days that proceed.
•  The transferee’s move coordinator will monitor the arrival of the household good delivery and keep the transferee up-to-date.
• The move coordinator will assist the transferee in obtaining requested dates for packing, loading, storage, and delivery.

Von Sydow’s move coordinators work for the highest interest of the transferee and the employer. For example, our team of move coordinators is skilled in obtaining date service during times of peak demand.   Additionally, our team will prepare a comprehensive pre-move estimate for relocation costs prior to the move.  Our coordinators are also proficient in customs-clearance for cross-border and international relocations.  We have what it takes to become your “Total Transportation Company.”

Owner/President

Brad Von Sydow comes with a lot of history. He grew up in the moving industry from when he was a youngster. He is the 4th generation Von Sydow and has been employed in the business since 1966. Brad attended Thorton Junior College when he was drafted into the Army Reserve.

Brad's philosophy, as a business owner in today's standards, includes being on top of everything and being accountable for your actions, as well as your employees' actions at all times. Being available 24/7 and getting the job done right are necessary ingredients towards exceeding customer expectations.

Brad has been an active member on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Movers' and Warehousemen's Association District Three Bureau Board in Springfield, IL since 2002. Brad is also an active member of the Allied Agents Association.

Von Sydow's Moving & Storage has been in business since 1888 and an Allied Van Lines Agent since 1928.
